- Beyondblue have launched a new Youth Campaign which aims to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of depression and anxiety in young people and where to get help. The campaign flyer provides more information and relevant links.
- The report Preventing crime and promoting rights for Indigenous young people with cognitive disabilities and mental health issues, by the Australian Human Rights Commission, investigates early intervention and diversionary practices aimed at preventing offending in Indigenous young people with a cognitive disability and/or a mental health problem. It examines services, identifies service delivery gaps, and ways to prevent offending behaviour.
- The report It all starts at home: male adolescent violence to mothers examines male adolescents' violence to their sole parent mothers. The research highlighted intra and intergenerational issues relating to family violence. The research concluded that male adolescent violence to mothers is an under-researched yet serious issue with far reaching ramifications for all family members.

- CHD Partners has produced a series of Young People and Crime Fact Sheets including information on the role of the youth sector in crime prevention.

- The Youth Affairs council of Victoria has released the Code of Ethical Practice - A First Step for the Victorian Youth Sector. - The Australian Youth Affairs Coalition (AYAC) is Australia's non-government youth affairs peak body. The AYAC has been operating since May 2002, and was formed following the wind-up of the previous peak body AYPAC in 1999.
