- Whichway Music Industry Workshops - late June/early July
MusicNSW and Whichway will be running a four day music industry and songwriting workshop and information sessions late June or early July to be held at the Redfern Community Centre. The workshops are especially aimed at NSW Indigenous contemporary music artists. Hip Hop, Country, Rock, Pop, R&B, Electronica, Dance, Singer songwriter, folk if your music is in any contemporary music genre this workshop is for you. The 4Rs - Rights, Reconciliation, Respect, Responsibility - 30 Sep - 3 Oct The 4Rs is the pre-eminent national event in 2008 for discussion and debate on Australia's future as a cosmopolitan civil society. Over 100 speakers and up to 400 delegates will explore opportunities for building a more inclusive society. The themes traverse human rights, Indigenous reconciliation, inter-cultural relations and citizenship in a globalizing world. The 4Rs Organising Committee invites submissions on the conference themes for speakers, panels, presentations, performances and other forms of participation by 2 July.
