  • Date rape is when someone you know socially (e.g. a boyfriend, a friend of a friend or someone you meet at a party) forces you into sex against your wishes. The About Date Rape website has info about how to get help if you or a friend has been a victim of date rape, tips on avoiding potentially unsafe situations, and helpful contacts and resources.
