• Australian Youth Forum Outreach Event: A forum for you to share your ideas about local and national issues - 10 June 2009
  The Australian Youth Forum (AYF) is holding a forum in Bankstown for young people aged between 15 and 24. This will be an opportunity for young people to discuss issues of interest to them and the government with the Minister for Youth, the Hon. Kate Ellis MP.

• 2009 BroSis Project - Youth Participation for the Sustainable Development of Cities - 30 June to 10 July 2009
  Young people are invited to apply to participated in the the BroSis Project, where they will have an opportunity to exchange various cultures with foreign friends from other cities, to take time to discuss on the issues about the "Sustainable Development of Cities" and to gain more self-confidence by presenting their policy suggestions to officials from the Seoul Metropolitan Government. • HSC Scholarship from NSW Housing - Closing date 10 July 2009
  Housing NSW is offering scholarships (a one-off payment of $2,000) to eligible young people living in social housing to complete their HSC. Guidelines, further information and application forms can be found on the Housing NSW website.

• Keep Us Safe - Young People's Opinion Forum - Sydney, 15 July 2009
  The CREATE Foundation and YAPA want to hear from young people who have used youth and community services in Sydney. Anyone between 12-25 years old who may have hung out in drop in centres, accessed counselling, needed services to help you find housing or been in a youth refuge, or have been in care or in custody. We're also keen to get a mix of different backgrounds and experiences, including different cultures and Indigenous young people. Click here to download the Nomination Form.
