Youth Week is coming!

NSW Youth Week 2010 will be held from 10 to 18 April 2010, with the theme ‘Live it Now.’

NSW Youth Week will kick off early in 2010 with the Youth Festival at the Royal Easter Show 2 – 5 April.

Events will be centred at the Youth Stage, amphitheatre and lawns in front of the stage. The Youth Festival will include music, interactive dance troupes, stalls, lots of bands and more. It’s a great part of the show where young people can hang out.

There will be hundreds of events held across NSW throughout Youth Week celebrating the positive contributions young people make to our society and providing opportunities for young people to organise their own events.

Events include arts, festivals, competitions, cultural activities, music workshops and performances.

Be the first to know what’s coming up in Youth Week 2010 and when and where it will be launched at the NSW Youth Week website: www.youthweek.nsw.gov.au  Find out who won the artwork competition and who was runner up.  Take a look at the 20 Top Tips for running a Youth Week event in your area.  You can also check out what your local council is doing for Youth Week and get involved.  Also keep your eye out for the time to enter your band for Youth Rock and upload your best tunes!
